burning the candle at both ends (the melting of my social life)

I've been working six days a week and about to move up to seven.  I thought working in movies was about nice cars, money and sexy parties.  turns out its about overtime, stress and sore a sore ass from sitting in the same chair for fourteen hours.

Oh well, the show must go on! (in theatres this summer, by the way.  and its called "g-force").  If you don't have kids to take to the movie, find some to take with you, or just go with Kelly (its pretty much the same thing).

Random shit that happened lately:

My car's engine locked up, and now has to be replaced.  I have been assured that the bill will be at least several thousand dollars.  I have also been assured that this situation sucks balls.  I find no comfort in this.

I found out that former presidents john adams and thomas jefferson both died on the same day, july 4.  (i do enjoy irony)

Saw Lamb Of God, Children Of Bodom, Devil Driver and God Forbid at the palladium in hollywood.  It was a completely awesome show.  I would definitely say that it "rocked the house."

Found out that the standard asian toilet is not a seat that you actually sit on, but a sort of resevoir that you squat over to do your business.

Found out about the Wacken Open Air festival, which I desperately wish to go to next year or the following year.

I am going to see fernando next weekend.  I can not wait.  Its going to be off the hook...as they say..
